INEXCUSABLE NEGLECT RESULTS IN DESTRUCTION & VANDALISM
The neglect and vandalism found by Giles Lowe upon his return in 2005
This is one of two Omega transmitters operated by the U.S. Coast Guard.
Although vandals have torn off the doors and stolen equipment; the meters along the top of the equipment and most of the lower panels were still in place in 2005.

This 2008 photo by David Aquino, a resident of Kaneohe, shows the face of Transmitter B after the meters and some panels were sold by DHHL.
This visit to the second floor of the transmitter building by Annette Lancaster the summer of 2007 exposes the result of failure to secure this historic site.
