The hoist ran down into the valley and transported all the material for the huge antenna anchor counterweights: shown here protected by tents. David Jessup > This view clearly shows three antenna sites. A fourth tent is barely visible just left of the CCL house(Communications Control Link) that held radio equipment designed to relay keying signals to the transmitter in the valley in an emergency. The knife like ridge made all the work both difficult and dangerous. Note that the white circular roads are 2500 feet below the ridge.
